Blissful LivingBy NOPYou all know it, you all love it. Two boys growing up in a different way. *DISCLAIMER* Chapter 3 I woke up feeling skin on mine and weight on top of me. I let my eyes flutter open and saw the clock's silloette against the east-facing, sun-streaked curtins; 7:45 AM. I wasn't ever able to sleep in... no matter how late I was up. I turned my head and found myselft face to face with Robbie; eyes still shut tight, makeup smeared slightly. As quitetly, and smoothly, as I possibly could I untangled his arms from around my waist and slipped out of the bed, half naked. I located my pants and pulled them over my boxers. I stumbled through his door and into the bathroom. and I continued with my daily routine, as much as I could without a toothbrush. I found a wash cloth in the closet and sponged the left over make up off my face. Feeling refreshed and awake I knew my next task, make coffee for Robbie. It took me several minutes to figure out the coffee machine, again. I always forgot exactly how I managed the time before. With the parts in place and the grounds and water ready I searched for the switch. I heard a cough and a groan from his room; he was up. I quickly searched the base and finally found it, the ball was rolling now. I opened the door to his room, just enough to see him, hiding under the sheets from the sun. I entered and sat on the edge of the bed. A thought accured to me; I rose and sauntered to the covered windows. Whisking them open I proclaimed, "Ahh! The Devil sun calls it's forgotten child forth from the gates of darkened slumber!" "Damn it, go back to sleep." he whined, rolling over. Much to his dismay I pulled the sheets from his face, and soon was wrestling them from his grasp. "No, please, just ten more hours." He begged. Now lying on top of him I started to kiss his face and then his bare chest, moving downwards to the wast band of his boxers. He was excited, but still wouldn't open his eyes. I swiftly moved back to his chest and rested my head on his shoulder. "You're such a tease." He kissed my forehead, "BUt I love ya." "I love you too." We hadn't ever admitted the fact before, "I made you coffee, I hope." "I know, I head you fighting with it. I can show you the quieter way, if you want." the vibration of his voice tickled my ear. "No, then I'll never get you up." I bit his shoulder harshly. "Fine, I'm up." He roughly pushed me off of him and rolled off the bed, "You should say please, you know. It's much more atractive than a vamp. bite." He examined the teeth marks on the edge of his collar bone. "But it's not nearly as affective." "You'll never know unless you try." He grabbed his blue pair of docker pants, fitted them with a belt, and pulled them on. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I hadn't ever witnessed anything so elegant as when Robbie dressed in the morning. "You stare...way too much." He smiled and walked over to me. He straddled my legs and pushed me onto my back, "It makes you seem innocent, which...I...know...you're not." He said slowly. v"You wouldn't know unless you try it." I relaxed benieth him. The front door opened and shut. "Shit! You're mom!" "Don't worrie, I'll just get off for a while and she'll think you just spent the night after the concert." Robbie smiled. "All's well." He pulled off of me and lied next to me staring at the ceiling. "When do you think you'll come out?" I asked sighing. I didn't know when I would, but I knew I would have to someday. The thought of such a secret from my family and good friends didn't sit well with me, I often thought about the perfect moment to divolge the secret. "When I leave for college... if I still feel that way." What and odd response, "What do you think this is a phase? Just like all of denying society?" I was nearly yelling. The sound of his mother moving quietly through the house kept me with in the room, "You have to be joking." "I don't know. I love you. I do, really, but I'm not sure if I like other guys or not." Those words again, he sure knew how to supress my rage, "Do you like girls?" "Some of them, I think." He sat up and started chewing his nails, his gastly habbit. Quickly he caught himself and threw his hands into his lap. "I don't like all of them, and none like you. I love you..." He sighed. "Well, then, until I'm gone you don't have to worrie, now do you?" I asked looking up and anxiously awaiting his answer. "I guess, but... but how long are you going to be with me?" He looked longingly at me, "What happens when we graduate, when we grow up? What about when we come out, will we feel the same about each other?" "Robbie, you have to save something for the future, don't plan it out stepp by step." I grabbed his hand and kissed the back, "We'll be alright, whether we're together or not." "Robbie, Honey? Are you up? Coffee's ready." His mother gently knocked on the door. "Yeah, mom." He faked being groggy. "Anyone spend the night?" "Just the usual." He called back squeezing my thigh. "How nice." she left down the hallway. "So....if I walk out there right now, she'll know it's me? This "usual?"" "What's that supose to mean?" He retorted harshly. "Just making sure you're not hiding any girls from me." I smiled. He sighed and laid back down next to me. He shifted so he was laying wiht his head on my chest. The soft, warm breaths on my skin; the fine, tickling hair; the feeling of his head listening to my heart; all endeared him to me even more. All most mechanically, he placed icee-cold hands on my stomache. I pulled away quickly, "Wow, you cold-blooded creature!" I exclaimed while he playfully pressed me down with both burning cold hands on my shoulders. "But you're so warm, I don't think I can help it!" He smiled dominating me completely with his sparkling eyes. His face melted, examining mine intently. I wasn't sure why but I had the strange feeling that he wasn't ever going to look away. If it hadn't beeen for the knock on the door, that caused him to roll swiftly off and onto his feet, we might have stared our way to death consentrating on each other. Following the knock swiftly was his mother who peered in casually. She looked around with a strage expression that addressed the shock that was on our faces. "I got some doughnuts, they're waiting for you....when you're ready." She backed out carefully, she knew something was happening. We didn't come out until after our hour-long "what if she knows?" talk. We decided that if she asked we would be honest, but we wouldn't say a thing until she did- for now. With it settled in this fashion we kissed slightly and headed out into the kitchen. The doughnuts were on the table, chocolate with sprinkles of all different colors, waiting for us. Robbie's mother wasn't anywhere to be found. But she did do the favor of leaving a note. Dear Boys, "That doesn't sound good." I mused, after reading it aloud. Robbie had gone back to chewing his nails, "Oh, Robbie." I said affectionatly, "everythig's going to be okay. You'll wake up years form now and realize just how....funny, if that's the word, this situation really is." I was trying my best to comfort him, but he didn't give any signs that I was helping. "I don't know what to do." He stammered, "Let's go." He headed for his coat and keys. "Go?" I asked scrambling back to his room for a shirt, "Where are we going?" I yelled down the hallway. "Robbie?" He was already out in the car. |
